About Us

We understand that time is precious for busy families and that Sunday mornings might be one of the only times you get to be together. But we also think that connecting with a warm and caring faith community and spending part of your week worshipping together as a family and journeying ever deeper into the Way of Jesus enhances and enriches your family life in ways that no other activities can.

Our minister, Reverend Larry Doyle, has been with us since 2007 and there is a renewed, energetic, positive Spirit about the church. Our worship is joyful, thoughtful, inspiring, engaging, and lively.

We also have a very talented Music Facilitator, Brian Stevens, who has  implemented our blended worship format which includes both beloved older hymns and newer praise and worship style music. Just about every Sunday you’ll hear piano, organ, and guitar, and sometimes drums, trumpets, flutes, and all sorts of other instruments.

But Faith is about more than Sunday morning!
For example, our Learning Calendar has been greatly expanded and this web site is constantly adding interesting content including sermon videos and online Bible studies and Discussions. Not to mention all the dinners, shows, and fun gatherings we offer.

There’s something for everyone at Faith.

You might find yourself drawn to Faith by the worship or the many events, but I think you’ll stay because of the incredibly warm and welcoming people that make up this church. We are truly striving to become a caring, nurturing, transformative community built upon the foundation of journeying ever deeper into the Way of Jesus - Loving God, and Loving People.

We hope you’ll join us!

Our Mission Statement

We believe in a loving and forgiving God, shown to us through the bible, Jesus Christ, and the community of believers. Therefore we will:

  • strive to provide a spiritual home that is welcoming, nurturing and safe;
  • seek to become disciples of Christ growing in faith through worship, study and prayer;
  • risk sharing our resources with local and global neighbors in response to God's call;
  • be committed to the responsible use and care of all that God has entrusted to us.

    Let our actions reflect our faith.

What We Offer

Faith United is a place to pause each week in the rush of life
and find refreshment and understanding as we worship God.

We offer worship that will speak to your life,
including music in a range of styles with organ or piano and
guitar accompaniment, drama, and special events.

We offer ways for you and your children to grow and learn in a friendly accepting atmosphere.

How We Work

Faith United Council is responsible for policy and operations in secular and spiritual matters.  The council consists of the Chair, Past Chair, Vice-Chair, Treasurer, Secretary, 2 Congregational Presbytery representatives, a representative from UCW and Chairs of all standing committees.  All are elected for a 3 year term.  The minister is also a member of council. The church work is directed to and carried out by standing and adhoc committees.
A board of trustees is responsible for investments, insurance, the sale and purchase of property and for funding capital projects.

In addition a number of fellowship and working groups assist in delivering our programmes.
